Over Easter weekend, Mimi and Grandma Phyllis came to visit us. Unfortunately, Mama came down with a stomach bug and missed some of the fun, but Anna and Daddy had a great time with them. Mimi and Grandma Phyllis came bearing gifts, and it was the first time Anna really understood what "presents" mean.
This was very enjoyable to watch because she would hold the tissue paper up in the air and say in an exaggerated voice, "PRESENTS!"
For one of her presents, she received animal finger puppets and her favorite ended up being the frog. Mimi also brought her childhood play table and chairs for Anna. They are her perfect size and we took her play food and baby and high chair to the table. She has wanted to eat her own snacks down there, too.
Clapping with all of us, as we clapped for her hammering the pegs in her new peg board.
On Easter Sunday, Anna and Mama went to Grammie Retta and Papa's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. We had yummy steaks to eat, of which Anna kept asking for "more steak", little carnivore, and Grammie Retta put the eggs in the yard for her.

Look at all my eggs!
Anna trying one of the chocolates Papa had put inside the Easter eggs. She said, "MMM, more!" (The girl likes her food, can't you tell?)
Happy Easter!
