September

September has been busy busy.  Anna and I started back at school which we have both been thoroughly enjoying.  She is now in the 3s class and she really likes her new teachers.  She has made some new friends, too: a girl she builds sandcastles with and a boy she wants to marry.  What?!  I tried to pass it off nonchalantly, but she was pretty insistent so then it came down to, "Adults get married and kids get to play and be friends."  Yikes.

Mike started back to window washing this month and will continue through the first week of December. However, he got to take Anna to her first day of school which is becoming a special annual tradition.
In other news, Jack is my crazy man who is just happy all the time.  He began sitting up on his own (with pillows surrounding him of course), and so he sits and plays with toys by batting, swatting and grabbing.  He looks like a little bird when he eats, opening his mouth as wide as it allows.  His favorite food so far is bananas.  He really likes tags which is funny to me since Anna had no interest in them at all when she was a baby.  He smiles so big that one of our friends said it "looks like he's going to break his face!"

Here are some pictures of our September thus far.
The fire station came with one of their trucks to school and sprayed water through the fire hose at the children.  Just kidding!  They sprayed it high up in the sky so it rained down.   Anna ran under and through it with her friends.  She said she had a great time but that the water was very cold.

Jack loves sleeping with his elephant. He is such a snuggler.

Anna got a haircut recently.  She kept making faces in the mirror.  She crazy.
 She cracks me up!

Surprise!  Bangs!

My sweet baby boy.
