Forever and A Day...

Since I last posted.
2011's Fall Season was full of activity.
Hayley began her first semester of teaching.
Mike was busy with window washing and fire fighting.
Anna began her 4s year at 2nd Pres and started gymnastics.
Jack's language continued to advance and he got to play with his friend, Ben, frequently.

Our days consisted of meals, school, play, planning, house work, grocery lists, gymnastics, friends, family, church, work, errands, sleep.

But, here are a few pictures of some moments from October through December.

Anna went to a pumpkin patch with her class.  She got to ride on a school bus there!  She picked this pumpkin and brought it back to her classroom.  There, Mike got to help her decorate it during a Parent/Child night at school.

Jack continued to love his blankie.  In case you have not heard the story of this eccentric looking blankie, it used to be a scarf of mine.  I wore it when he was only a few months old.  He began snuggling with it and grabbing for it by around 4 months.  I started letting him sleep with it and it soon became his lovey.

Jack and Anna on a wonderfully sunny day in October.  We had an unusually sunny fall which we were very thankful for.
Trick or treating with friend, Ari.  Jack was a fire fighter and Anna was Belle.

Thanksgiving with Papa J, Grammy Retta, Auntie Taylor, Great-Grandmother Rosie.

Then, Uncle Jon, Aunt Meg, cousins Solomon & Oliver, Mimi and Donn came to visit and celebrate Thanksgiving.
After that, we got ready for Christmas by painting wrapping paper...
and decorating the tree.
Christmas morning was celebrated with PaPaPa, Grammy Lisa and Uncle Jake.  We unwrapped presents and ate some Yeasted Chocolate Coffee Cake.  Hayley has just started having a love affair with yeast.  We have more Christmas pictures, but they have yet to be uploaded to any computer.

Daisy, of course, continues to be our broom and vacuum.  She turned 11 this past September and is looking older.  Still as sweet as ever (with people, that is!)

And here are two profile pictures of Anna and Jack that I love.  Sweet faces.

Happy New Year from the Abells!
