We had a lovely 4th of July weekend with Mimi and her fiance', Donn. We had a big 4th cookout, complete with grilled chicken and steak, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, baked beans, watermelon, and later, some homemade margaritas.
Mimi painted Anna's toenails and fingernails and fed Jack.
We all visited Mike at the fire station where Anna got to get in one of the fire trucks and "drive" it. Mike showed us all of their tools and how they fill up their air packs.
And we just hung around the house playing, reading books, eating, watching movies and relaxing.

Mimi and Donn gave Anna an early birthday present: a pedal fire truck! What a surprise! But because it has ladders on it, she calls it her station wagon, like Daddy's window washing wagon.
